BW Bearing Buddies are designed to protect trailer bearings from water ingress and other outside elements by applying light pressure to the internal greased environment.

Once they are heated up from road use, trailer bearings can pull water through the seals when submerged in cold water (like the water surrounding a boat ramp). This water being pulled into the bearing can cause bearing corrosion and premature failure.
